Pauline joined Oriel Securities in 2004 from the Investment Banking division at Clifford Chance to head up Compliance and in-house Legal. After graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering, Pauline spent six years with BP Oil in London, Africa and Brussels. She then qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 and joined Ashurst as a corporate lawyer where she also spent time on secondment to ABN Amro. The majority of her experience was gained in M&A and corporate finance, latterly focussing on equity issues and public takeovers particularly in the energy division where she was able to draw on her previous experience in the oil industry. Susan read law at Hertford College, Oxford and qualified as a solicitor in 1991. After qualification, she worked as an employment lawyer in the City, most recently as an equity partner at Nabarro. Susan joined Oriel as its Human Resources Director in November 2009 having worked with the business previously over a number of years.

Lexa joined Oriel in 2008 from Fox-Pitt Kelton where she was Group Chief Operating Officer. In her fifteen years with FPK, Lexa gained experience across all areas of the business. She was a Director of Research for 10 years and then COO. She was a member of the team that led the transition of FPK as it moved back into a partnership, from ownership under Swiss Re, alongside the private equity group, J.C. Adrian is a founder of Oriel Securities. Adrian has 20 years of broadly based Investment Banking experience and was previously a director in HSBC’s ECM business, joining them in 2000. He joined Baring Brothers & Co in 1989 in its Corporate Finance department. At Barings Adrian worked on a full range of corporate finance transactions, including a large number of public offer situations. Eithne joined Oriel at its inception in 2002 from ABN AMRO where she was European Sector Director for General Retail. Eithne was responsible for the European sector view and also key to developing ABN’s corporate relationships in the Retail Sector (Body Shop, GAME, N Brown and WH Smith). The team was consistently ranked in the top 5 Institutional client surveys. She joined ABN’s Corporate Broking department in 1993 having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Dublin. Johnny has 26 years experience in Equity Markets and prior to joining Oriel was Head of Equities at Chevreux (London) and Seymour Pierce. He spent two years as head of UK Equity Sales at Dresdner Kleinwort having moved to London in 1989 with UBS. He spent 12 years at UBS in Sales, involving UK and South African Equities, latterly being head of Emerging Market (Europe) Sales. Brendan is an oil & gas industry expert with over 30 years of working experience in this industry and with broad experience across the full range of equity capital market activities. He previously worked for Hoare Govett in the UK (where he acted as corporate broker to BP, British Gas, Enterprise Oil, Clyde Petroleum and Fortune Oil) and latterly on corporate finance mandates for HSBC Investment Bank in Australia and the Far East. Before joining the ING Group, he spent 18 years with Phillips & Drew and UBS, becoming Executive Vice President and Regional Head of UBS Europe, and a member of the Group Executive Board. David has extensive UK and international experience having held senior management, research, sales and trading roles in the UK, Japan, the United States, Switzerland and Australia. He was Chairman and a founder of Audley, an assisted living business operating retirement villages. In the 1990s he was MD of the UK Operations of the Australian developer Hudson Conway and represented their 50% interest as a director of The Courage Pub Company plc. He qualifed as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and was secretary to the UK Property & Construction Group. Bim is a graduate of the LSE and graduated from CASS Business School with a distinction and joint-top of his class.
